Fees and charges for Resource Consent Applications

Since the last review of these charges, there have been increased monitoring and reporting requirements from central government and overhead costs have increased.

From 1 July 2020, our resource consent processing and monitoring charges will increase so those who gain the benefit from these services pay a reasonable cost for that service.

The hourly charge out rate, some deposits and fixed charges will increase to better reflect the actual time taken and cost associated with the service. These charges still compare well to other Council’s charges of similar size.
