Temporary Road Closure - Brooklands Road

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Fulton Hogan to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Brooklands Road – full length

Date and time of scheduled closure: Monday 12 August to Sunday 18 August 2024 – 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Monday 19 August to Friday 30 August 2024 – 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

The closure is for manhole cover maintenance.   

Vehicle access for residents, couriers and home help will be available. Minor delays are likely to ensure safety of workers. Some roadside parking will be available. Contractors will liaise directly with any residents whose driveway access will be temporarily affected. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided.
