Proposed Temporary Road Closure - Poynters Crescent
AMENDED - New Dates
Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Wilsons Traffic Management to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:
Poynters Crescent – between SH60 & Harbour Terrace
Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 18 September 2024 – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Thursday 19 September 2024 – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
The closure is for slip remediation.
Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available from the top end of Poynters Crescent (via Albert Road). Delays are likely. No roadside parking will be available. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided.
To understand how this closure could impact residents/businesses, Council is seeking feedback on this proposal by 17 September 2024.

The decision on whether the road will be closed will be advertised on the Council's website, www.nelson.govt.nz. Residents/businesses in the affected areas will also be informed via a letterbox drop.
