Reduced Wake Zone NSN 01/24

Navigation Safety Notice 01/24 

All vessels are to reduce wake so not to affect the shoreline or berths in the area in Nelson Harbour bounded by:

• line from red pile #3 to the disused jetty on Haulashore Island.
• line from red pile #6 to the South end of Main Wharf.

This is due to repeated safety concerns with excessive wake created by motor vessels over 12metres.
